The purpose of this communication is to provide a status update and highlights for any interesting subjects from the Ubuntu Server Team. cloud-init

  • Queued upstream for merge into Bionic
  • Queued 17.1.46 SRU for Xenial, Zesty, and Artful
  • Fix EC2 race on sandboxed dhclient’s pidfile during tempdir teardown (LP: #1735331)
  • Enable Bionic in Integration Tests
  • Create LXD and KVM Integration Tests in Jenkins

curtin

  • Added mount ‘options’ parameter to the mount storage configuration structure
  • curthooks.write_files legacy support (LP: #1731709)
  • Merged control of curtin install unmounting
  • Added rootfs on lvm test to vmtests (LP: #1731490)
  • Fix Bionic netdeps
  • Enable Bionic in vmtests

Postgres

  • Bionic now has postgresql version 10 (LP: #1733527)
